The most advanced vibration dampener on the market. Protect your crane from vibration damage on older vibratory hammers with our new Patent-Pending Device invented by John White.
We offer rental, purchase, and rental purchase options on all our equipment. No minimum requirements for rentals. Try before you buy!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What vibratory hammers do these work on? Up to what size?
A: The No-Shock will dampen up to 45 tons (90,000 lbs) of hanging weight. Therefore it will work on any size vibratory driver/extractor as long as the overall hanging weight does not exceed 45 tons. Max line pull it can handle is 175 US tons.
Q: Tunkers and ICE dampeners are a lot lighter in weight, why is the no-shock so heavy?
A: The 4,300 lbs of the no-shock compared to 1,800 lbs or so of the competition is by design. The extra weight allows for effective dampening of startup and shutdown, it takes the shock so your crane does not. If the dampener is too light it won’t dampen as effectively and the boom of the crane will take the hit.
Q: Can we rent the No-Shock?
A: Yes, call for a quote in your area.
Q: How long will it last?
A: This machine will go at least 5 years without any need to maintain it other than periodically checking that the Ballast weight bolts are still tight. Competitive machines have many pins and wire ropes that can wear, break, or fall off, whereas the no-shock device is solid steel and essentially has no wear items other than the rubber elastomers that typically have a 5-10 year life.
Q: Can this go underwater?
A: Yes, the rubber elastomers we are using is Generation 5, meaning the chemical locking we are using on the elastomer is designed to go in the ocean for long durations without any impact.
Q: How do I rig it to my vibro?
A: We have a rigging team that can help you, typically they are rigged to the hammer with a braided wire rope and remain connected to the Vibro for the duration of the job.

No Shock Features & Benefits
HPSI 500 Pulling a Steel Pipe pile:
Crane Operator: "I can barely feel that the vibro is even hanging from the crane, incredible."
The HPSI machines do not have a dual stage suppressor so they can shake the cranes pretty hard especially when pulling. If you have an older ICE or HPSI machine then a No-Shock device could be perfect for your next job.
Without the No Shock this could have taken down the crane boom...
Story:
This is an ICE model 77 (aka: The crane killer) being free hung in the yard. During a pre-rental test the machine was free hung to make sure everything was okay. We did not know the power unit was broken and it resulted in a very unsafe situation that caused the hammer to violently shake out of control. No Shock saved that day.
