DESIGN: ELASTOMER TESTING

This video came part because it was discovered that different suppliers of elastomers abroad and in in the USA are using different methods to test elastomers to determine the spring rate.  John White was curious enough to build a test stand and actually test various elastomers used by competitors to see if the spring rate was what they say it was.  It wasn't.  If the spring rate is not correct it can be very dangerous, this video explains how to test the spring rate properly.
